Soft layers of pink and yellow build across the surface in overlapping, translucent passages that never fully settle into solid form. White underpainting shows through in places, lightening the field and giving the color a sense of air. Darker linear marks cut through the warmer tones at irregular intervals, their edges sometimes sharp and sometimes blurred by the surrounding paint.

The surface itself carries a quiet physical presence. Thicker strokes rise slightly above thinner washes, catching light along their ridges while the more open areas remain matte and receptive. As attention moves across the painting, the balance between the soft color and the darker interruptions keeps shifting, so the eye never rests for long in any single zone.
