Pink Typhoon

A dense web of thin pink lines and splatters moves across a dark, uneven ground. The marks vary in weight and direction, some long and continuous, others short and broken, their pale color standing out sharply against the deeper surface beneath. In places the pink sits cleanly on top; elsewhere it seems partially absorbed, softening into the black and gray textures below.

The underlying surface itself carries its own activity. Rough, mottled passages of dark paint create a broken field that the linear marks travel over and through. Light catches differently across the ridges and recesses of the ground, so the pink network appears to shift in clarity and intensity depending on the angle of viewing.
